Our Story

Mission Hill started on April 3, 2005 with 19 meeting in the Farmhouse at 21st & Auburn. We began Mission Hill with the desire to reachout to 18-35 year old segment of Topeka and to create a church where real people could come with real hurts and experience the love of the Real Savior.

Mission Hill is part of Topeka First Assembly. We are one church with four locations. We are helping to fulfill the vision of First Assembly by providing a place of collection and belonging for a segment of our culture.

Mission Hill is a place where people can come just as they are and experience the presence of God. It is a relaxed atmosphere with coffee, food, and your choice of seating. You can sit in a more traditional chair or sit at one of our coffee tables and experience what God is doing that day.

In February of 2007, we moved into a new modular building which now has seating capacity for 100. We have children’s ministry for children into elementary school.

We believe our best days are ahead of us as we join together in small groups and grow in real relationships with one another. There is nothing better than being a part of something that is bigger than we are. We would like to extend an invitation to anyone looking for a church home to become part of the next chapter God is writing at Mission Hill.
